Key Functions and Responsibilities:

The IT Supervisor will oversee the day to day operations of the IT Service Desk and projects. We are looking for a well-spoken individual that can work on IT infrastructure projects and technical support requests.

  • Coach and mentor Tech Support staff members on processes, applications, hardware, and related tools
  • Foster an engaging work environment within the department, encouraging accountability, open communication, teamwork, and a commitment to serving the customer
  • Handle escalations quickly and effectively
  • Represent IT at project meetings and working with other functional teams
  • Consistently look for ways to improve end user experience as well as the staff’s ability to support them
  • Develop and maintain internal process and training documentation
  • Communicate with external vendors when necessary to order equipment, services and dispatches
  • Develop, plan and lead various information technology projects
  • Work with IT Director on projects and escalate trouble tickets or requests when necessary
  • Use the existing ticketing system and inventory management system for communication and documentation
  • Report any performance or team issues with IT Director


Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • Degree or diploma in related field.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Customer Service and Team based mindset is key to being successful in this position and organization
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook 356, SharePoint, VOIP systems, LogMeIn, Ticketing Systems
  • Experience in Project Management for deployments and migrations
  • Understanding of phone systems, switches, routers and networking protocols
  • Willingness to learn and use new computer programs/applications
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow procedures and respect confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate detailed or technical information clearly, accurately, and concisely 
  • Experience interacting with customers/clients
  • Must be able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Understanding of ITIL / ITSM



  • 5+ years of hands on experience with IT Infrastructure support in an enterprise environment
  • 3+ years supervisory and leadership experience
  • 3+ years IT project management experience
