The Department

As our new IT Project Manager for Retail IT, you will become a part of the department, Retail IT, that focus on everything related to our Retail systems within WSAudiology.

The department Retail IT, is responsible for a wide range of systems and work across the entire globe to support our retail organization in the best possible way. We mean it, when we say the department is truly global and you will have colleagues in distributed teams in Singapore, India, the US as well stakeholders in our key markets across Europe, US and other regions. You will be a part of the small program and roll-out management team as well as referring directly to our Retail IT Program Manager based in our HQ at our CO2 neutral office in Lynge, just north of Copenhagen.

The Role

As our new IT Project Manager, you will develop your skills as an IT Project Manager within our organization as well as be getting experience across several different cultures and countries. You will be responsible for rolling out our Global Retail IT template to the local retail markets and function as the bridge builder between IT and the retail business.

Furthermore, you will be working in the interface between our business and IT and your will therefore, become closely linked to clearly communicate the specific deliverables, that will be implemented by the country local Business Transformation Managers. As you will be working with our retail organization spread across the EMEA region, you should expect approximately 50-80 days of travelling annually to our different locations.

Furthermore, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the Project team of OMS (Office Management System), ERP, CRM and BI project participants 
  • Plan the configuration, data migration, testing and cut-over activities to the new setup
  • Secure timely execution of project activities and a go-live without unnecessary business disruption
  • Timely and accurate reporting to the Steering Committee 
  • Sparring partner for the business owners during roll-out projects 

What we look for in you

The successful candidate will be able to navigate the area between IT and our business as well as handle different stakeholders across locations and cultures. 

  • You have a relevant Business or Computer Science degree
  • You have 1-2 years of experience as a project, product or roll-out manager either in a corporate environment or from consultancy
  • You have experience with a broad set of IT tools such as point of sales (POS), office management (OMS), CRM, ERP and BI systems
  • Experience within the medical device industry and/or with retail will be an advantage Broad experience with waterfall and agile methodologies will be an advantage
  • Fluency in English – both written and spoken is necessary 
  • Fluency in French – both written and spoken - will be an advantage
