The Role

For our Widex Hearing Solutions Team in Denmark (Lynge), we are looking for an executive with leadership skills to bridge commercial needs with compelling solutions to build and grow the Widex brand equity.

The Widex Hearing Solution Team consists of 3-4 product managers in an international setup, located in Lynge. This person will be heading the Widex product management team and partnering with the Widex brand management team.

The primary task is to translate the brand plan into concrete value propositions, solution requirements, and solution roadmaps covering all solutions elements (audiology, hardware, fitting software, consumer apps).

More specifically, the Head of Widex Hearing Solutions will:

  • Implement and drive the brand strategy into the R&D organization and strive for meaningful solutions with impeccable user experience to maximize commercial impact
  • Be responsible for the alignment of all solution elements of the branded roadmap between business owners, the brand team, sales organizations, and R&D
  • Drive the solution scoping of brand-specific solutions together with her/his product management team.
  • Leverage all subject matter experts across the upstream and downstream marketing space to ensure the best solutions for all Widex launches, ensuring short-term as well as long-term solution deliverables to the brand strategy.

You are an International Product Manager and/or Brand Manager, with success in product launches including “classic” product management tasks such as creating value propositions, developing commercial requirements, and steering multiple disciplinary teams.

  • Experience in product management and/or strategic sales/marketing in an international environment, preferably in the medical and electronic consumer goods area
  • Experience being a bridge-builder between markets, the brand, and the technical domain. You understand how to drive the process to define solutions in close collaboration with other teams (i.e. Brand Management, Market Insights, Global R&D
  • Result-driven and have a logical and analytical capacity being well organized with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong integrity, and a humble – yet confident personality that goes well with global colleagues on all levels
  • You have a natural flair for operating with different stakeholders, listening to their needs, and developing tailored solutions
    Ethics, confidence, managing ambiguity, and being open to change and learning
