This team is part of the Global Information Technology group.
You will be located in our CO2 neutral headquarters north of Copenhagen with dynamic and progressive colleagues, who are highly skilled and empathic.
As a student assistant you will be working with the Global Information Security Technical Lead located in Lynge. You will work closely with different functions across WSA, discussing ideas, topics, and actions on how to protect data and system from external threats. You will get the chance to evolve your cyber security competencies and simultaneously contribute to the evolving needs of IT security topics in WSA.
You will work between 10 and 20 hours a week with flexibility during exam periods.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to work with a many different aspects of cyber security. This includes deep dive into technical operations, explore new technologies, and involve in writing policies, procedures and processes. More specific you will:
- Enhanced and automate the vulnerability management process through better asset management integration with the vulnerability assessment platform.
- Tackling cyber security risk by conducting/automating threat hunting/remediation in enterprise environment utilizing latest tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Contributing to the cybersecurity governance areas e.g. like setting up reporting, defining relevant KPIs and following up on actions.
You are taking an education on bachelor, candidate or similar level, for example “datalog”, Cand merc. IT, IT-security or similar.
We expect you to be curious, believe that every attack is possible with enough motives. You should be ambitious and eager to learn and apply what you have already learned at work. Last, continue to stay on the right side and help WSA to defense against these threats so we continue to make wonderful sound part of everyone’s life.
You don’t need to have any specific experience. As a student assistant working for WSA, we will create the experience together.

The office is located in Lynge, Denmark, and we speak Danish in the office, however as you are joining a global team, the corporate language is English, so you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
