The role

The Global Corporate Communications team at WS Audiology is responsible for all media relations, employee communications, public affairs, financial communications and crisis communications.

Reporting to the VP Corporate Communications and working closely with the CEO and CFO of the company, the Head of External Communications will:

• Develop and execute plans to drive the reputation of WS Audiology globally
• Coordinate global media relations and act as company spokesperson
• Support CEO, CFO, and core members of Group Management in their communication to external stakeholders
• Coordinate and develop financial messaging closely working with the IR team
• Manage WSA’s corporate social media activities and digital channels
• Participate in lobby and public affairs activities

The ideal profile

• Over 10 years of corporate communications and ideally agency experience, with proven track record of financial communications and media relations
  
• Having worked at least 5 years successfully for one or more listed companies as spokesperson and media relations officer in the headquarters of a global company
  
• Experience as communication sparring partner of CEO and CFO
  
• Demonstrated success in managing financial and top tier media relations and driving social media campaigns
  
• Robust affinity with culture change and sustainability communications
  
• Strategic and creative sparring partner and advisor for C-suite
  
• Natural team player, able to build bridges with commercial organizations across the globe
  
• Solid interpersonal and intercultural skills working with global stakeholders
  
• English communication skills at native speaker level, verbal and written
