The Team
To deliver on our purpose of making wonderful sound part of everyone’s life, we are strengthening our capabilities with an additional, passionate, and purpose-driven team player in our Embedded Software team.
The WS Audiology Accessory team in Lynge HQ is responsible for developing powerful Bluetooth Low Energy connected next gen accessories for Widex and Signia brands.
In this team you will develop embedded software for our accessories. You will work together with some of the most skilled engineers developing new cutting-edge products.
You will join a cross-functional R&D team, consisting of 18 engineers with background in electronics, mechanics, UX, and software.
The Role
As our new embedded Software Developer, you will be working with our next generation Accessories, with technologies like Bluetooth Classic and BLE, low energy systems, USB, MFI, Mobile App integration and sensors.
We imagine that you bring solid embedded software design and development skills into the team to set your mark in all steps of the Software development process.
The right candidate for this position is passionate about SW development and strives to achieve excellent device performance within the given constraints and timeline.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced SW engineer with a relevant technical education combined with experience from design, implementation, test and verification of embedded software. As embedded software is closely connected to hardware, understanding the interplay between hardware and software is a clear advantage.
Experience
- Programming in C/C++
- Embedded system design
- RTOS, USB, Bluetooth, Battery management and MFI
- Python scripting
- Continuous integration
- Unit and integration testing
- Debugging
- Knowledge about SCRUM, Jenkins, Git
- Knowledge about hardware development
- Documentation of design and test
- Regulatory compliance of medical devices is a plus

- You are a team player and can find viable solutions through good team and stakeholder collaboration
- You feel responsible for your tasks, while keeping an overview of dependencies to ongoing tasks in other areas in the project

Our corporate language is English, so you need to be confident in English, both verbally and in writing. Danish on intermediate level or better will be an advantage.
