The department
Technical Project Management within the global R&D focus on the program-, project and process management of all existing's projects within the hearing aid development sphere with program management working across discipline interdependencies.
With reference to Head of Project Management based in our HQ in Lynge, you will be working in close dialogue with our Program Managers working across HW, SW and accessories and involved Project managers.
The role as Program Feature Manager
We want to build our hearing aid solutions gradually by adding fully integrated system level features in a more sequential way. In this context, the newly established role as Program Feature Manager will be responsible for creating and driving cross discipline feature plans across our SW delivery value chain for hearing aids. You will be working across SW functions such as Audiological features, Embedded SW, our B2B SW fitting platform, B2C APPs and much more.
The role is located at our site in Lynge, where you will be responsible for the program feature plans involving around five projects and 200-300 mainly SW people scattered across sites globally, of which many of your colleagues will be based in Lynge, Denmark or Erlangen, Germany.
As this is a new role, you will be able to influence the direction in relation to developing and building processes in everything from requirement specification process, planning and follow ups as well as communication processes. Our entire Software is inspired by a SAFe Agile model, which we try to adapt to our specific solution development context.
You should expect to have a division in work assignments of 80 % delivery on projects as well a 20 % development of process within the organization.
You will have responsibility for
- End-to-end planning of implementation, integration and system testing of the cross functional features.
- Planning workshops together with involved project managers, architects and product owners
- Status reporting
- Provide updates to & support of feature roadmap
- Support system integration and system test with feature status and schedule across SW disciplines
What we are looking for in you
You must have a system level perspective on things with a good technical understanding. It is all about bringing different products together to form a working solution. This is an operational role which includes, facilitating the alignment of joint goals, complex planning across departments, coordination across projects and reporting to a program manager on progress. If you have experience in multiple of these areas, that would be great.
As you will be entering a complex setup, you should have a pragmatic mindset on how to move the overall program forward. This also requires you balance to take as well as push decisions forward, while at the same time co-create with, involve and interact with the many stakeholders that are involved.
You will interface with several scaled agile setups and hence an understanding of agile principles and how to leverage them on a system or solution level will be of great benefit.
We believe it’s an advantage if you have a degree within the area of software development, engineering or a similar technical relevant area, e.g. embedded SW development. This would make it easier for you to understand demands and the dependencies between our products, and simply show respect to the tasks, you will encounter.
As we are a global company, we expect you to have professional fluency in English. Danish is not a requirement, but simply something that we welcome.
We imagine you to have experience from a similar role, where a system perspective on complex SW planning and coordination across projects has been in focus. Furthermore, we are hoping to see someone, who has experience with software projects and ensuring documents and plans for these.
What we are looking for in you as a person, and to ensure the right match with the role, is that you are rather self-driven, goal focused and able to take on and drive maturity and build-up of new processes within the R&D organization. You are a skilled communicator that understand and communicates well with stakeholders across all levels. Furthermore, you understand to motivate and lead cross-functional teams and are able to see things in a bigger picture and to make decisions when needed.
Last but very least, you are able to spot changes and are not afraid to address potential issues, if you see, that something might not be working as it could.

The working environment at WS Audiology is informal with helpful and skilled colleagues. Our mentality is result-oriented, and we have focus on creating the best possible products and always improving competences.
