The Team

You will be part of the R&D department where two types of software products are developed. One is a web based platform that is used at hearing care centers to provide TeleAudiology to their customers. The other is mobile apps for hearing aid users to control their hearing aids and support their lives.

Your team is for example offering backend services to remotely configure hearing aids, audio & video call and other mobile device services.  
Your colleagues are based in Erlangen (GER) and Bangalore (IND).

The Role

As Technical Product Owner in R&D for one team, you will work closely with relevant stakeholders and other software development teams in a scaled agile environment.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

• Enable rapid, high quality development by owning and driving features in products of our digital solutions (interconnected Mobile Apps and Web Apps)
• Enrich, structure and break down high level requirements into user stories and acceptance test together with your cross-functional agile team
• Set, prioritize, and accept the work generated by your team in order to ensure the most valuable and proper functionality of the product
• Identify and monitor KPIs and use them as a cornerstone for team focus, priorities and product improvements
• A deep technical understanding of your (software) products. You will be single point of contact for other Product Owners, Architects and stakeholders

Requirements

You are a strong communicator who knows how to explain software topics to commercial colleagues. You are a team player. You engage in constructive discussions with your colleagues and seek design feedback. Creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude are part of your strengths.

You most likely fit the following profile:

• Completed university studies or other appropriate qualification in the area of computer science
  
• Strong knowledge on Agile principles and proceedings
  
• Experience in requirements engineering, feature slicing and related tools (preferably Microsoft Azure DevOps/TFS)
• Creative and innovative thinking with focus on customer value generation
• Willingness to grow into a technically challenging domain supported by your analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in intercultural distributed work environment
• Experience as Product Owner, preferable in a scaled agile delivery organization

Our corporate language is English, so you need to be confident in English, both verbally and in writing. German language skills are desirable.
