The role

Our Finance team acts as the financial sparring partners to the managers and support the decision-making process by providing financial management information, deep dive analysis, performance management reporting and financial planning.

The position will be based in France, will report to the Head of controlling & Procurement and will support the entire wholesale business. This person will manage a team of 3 business controller and will be specifically responsible for:

1/ sales and financial performance

• Analyze price and margin per brand, customers, product family…
• Participate in yearly contract writing/update and make sure the impact is controlled,
• Support sales teams in building strong and profitable sales offers,
• Drive all the customer rebates with a simplification mindset,
• Define and follow-up of sales variable pay model,
• Prepare Top Management monthly business review
• Build business related dashboards to help decision makers
• Elaborate Ad-hoc/spontaneous report/analysis for decision makers
• Manage the revenue monthly closing at U+1,
• Ensure the consistancy of the P&L Topline (volume, price, mix, contribution margin)

2/ Budget & forecast :

• Build a strong model of revenu forecast based on delivery trends, customers habits, product launchs, level of consignment stock, etc.
• Manage the budget/forecast process and support sales directors in building projections,
• Work closely with the Financial Controlling Manager to build the budget files and analysis
• Analyze Actual/BU/Fct/PY variations

Since the country is in a ramp-up mode, this role is key in the controlling team. The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance professional with strong expertise in FP&A and budgeting activities. With 5 to 8 years of work experience from analytical positions within finance, management reporting, financial planning and analysis, the candidate will have interest in working with and supporting the business in driving performance and value
