This team is part of R&D where two types of software products are developed. One is audiological fitting applications used at hearing care centers to adjust hearing aids. The other is mobile apps for hearing aid users to control their hearing aids and support their lives.
Become part of our team in Erlangen and join our Software Portfolio Management team as a Software Database Expert (m/f/d). Within our matrix organization in R&D, the core competency and area of responsibility of the SPM team is Project Management and Management of cross-pillar activities. We manage projects independent from development model of the delivery org (Scrum, SAFe, waterfall) and connecting platform development / program management running classic approaches outside Software Development with an agile approach.
You will report to our Head of Software Portfolio Management.
As Software Database Expert (m/f/d) you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage Hearing Aid portfolio input data for our fitting software
Improve our current database architecture
Develop Import & Export infrastructure to external data sources
Shape and design our next generation data provisioning solution in the cloud
Develop dedicated software components
Coordinate cross functional component teams
You will work closely together with other R&D teams like Audiology, Signal Processing, Wireless and Marketing in a multi-geographical environment with locations at Singapore, Denmark and others.
You most likely fit the following profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Profound working experience with .NET Core, C# and SQL
Working Experience in modern architectures and domain driven design
Experience in agile software development
Talent in cross-functional working
Effective team player with good communication skills
Our corporate language is English, so besides German you need to be confident in English, both verbally and in writing.
