To deliver on our purpose of making wonderful sound part of everyone’s life, we are strengthening our capabilities with an additional, enthusiastic, and purpose-driven collaborator as Senior Service Designer in our Digital Incubator team, based in Lynge, focusing on innovation activities in our business segment.
A bit about the role
As Senior Service Designer you will be part of the Digital Incubator team in WSA SW B2C department.
You take the starting point in a human-centered design approach and evangelize UX / lean start-up best practices across the innovation activities of our engineering community. You will work closely cross-functional including UX Designers, Software Engineers, Audiologists and product managers. Some of them are distributed over multiple geographical locations, for instance, Erlangen in Germany and Singapore.
Your responsibilities would look like something alike the following:
• Guide user-centered design approaches across all stages of innovation and fore front projects
• Plan, conduct, and synthesize design research and user testing as a means to identify impactful opportunities and to iterate solutions
• Orchestrate and direct co-creation workshops with clients, partners, and end-users as part of new service creation
• Communicate concepts and solutions through impactful storytelling, visualisations, prototyping and formalized UX design documentation
A bit about you
We expect you to have at least 5 years of designing and delivering end-to-end user experiences; for example within a product innovation, enterprise software, design or strategy consulting environment.
Furthermore, you have comprehensive understanding of user centered design processes and specifically service design techniques and frameworks (e.g. value propositions, journey and workflow mapping, service specification & blueprinting, wireframing and testing).
Strategic and systems thinking with expertise in data privacy, security, content management and analytics
You have good knowledge and practical experience in applying user research methods Furthermore, you have great presentation, storytelling, and facilitation skills to engage and collaborate with clients, particularly in a workshop setting. You have adept craft skills in sketching and visualizing ideas as well as good knowledge of interaction design principles and experience in creating design systems documentation particularly as applied to web-based and mobile applications.
On the tools side you have understanding of design and prototyping tools such Adobe CC, Figma, InVision etc, paired with deep analytical skills and knowledge of supporting tools (Excel, online survey tools, etc).
Potentially, you posses a Master’s degree in Service Design or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
Our corporate language is English, so you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
