The Role
As Product Owner (m/f/d) of Product Information Management, you will ensure the best possible user experience of our systems and serve as voice of the customers as primary contact for queries related to the product. You will work closely with internal teams and Affiliates to analyse their needs and align the product roadmap to strategic goals. Some teams and Internal Stakeholders are distributed over multiple geographical locations.
You will report to our Director of Digital Platform Operations.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Owning of the product roadmap, including an understanding of the entire end to end life-cycle of Product Data, all of its components, processes, and impact on relevant systems
- Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the design and development teams.
- Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards committed business deliverables.
- Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply product data for to present to Management/Business Owners.
- Collaboration with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams.
- Evaluate and review the deliverables from team as well as represents team in front of stakeholders, users or Management.
- Research and analyze industry, market, competitors, user behaviors, and create a dynamic roadmap for the product
Requirements
We expect you to be solution driven, process oriented, technical, very organized, and diligent in follow-up activities. Additionally, you are a strong communicator (verbal and written) that knows when to insist and when to create a win-win opportunity. You are a team player, who seeks design feedback and engage in positive, constructive discussions with your colleagues. Supports and contributes to a culture of positivity, inclusion, creativity, attention to detail and a collaborative attitude.
You most likely fit the following profile:
- University Degree in IT, Business Management or similar
- Our corporate language is English, so you need to be confident in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Product Owner/Product Manager Certification favorable but not required.
- Fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
- Strong understanding of Agile practices, new technology opportunities and other new trends.
