The Team
This team is part of R&D where two types of software products are developed. One is audiological fitting applications used at hearing care centers to adjust hearing aids. The other is mobile apps for hearing aid users to control their hearing aids and support their lives.
The Role
Become part of our team in Erlangen and join our Software Portfolio Management (SPM) team as a Software Project Manager (m/f/d). Within our matrix organization in R&D, the core competency and area of responsibility of the SPM team is Project Management for software products, services, and cross-domain initiatives. We manage software projects operating in a scaled agile setup and the interdependencies to platform development / program management running outside the Software Department.
You will work closely together with other R&D like Audiology, Signal Processing, Systems Engineering and teams outside R&D like IT and Marketing located at Erlangen, Singapore, Denmark and others.
You will report to our Head of Software Portfolio Management.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage development projects for dedicated software products or solutions spanning across multiple software products and external systems
- Project scope, timeline and budget from planning to release
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within and outside R&D Software
- Coordinate multiple workstreams spread across various geographies and organizations to contribute efficiently to the project goals
- Align close with resource providing line organizations within R&D Software
- Ensure compliant software releases according to our development process for medical products
- Take care of management reporting, change management and continuous process improvement
Requirements
You most likely fit the following profile:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems/Technology, Business Informatics, Economic Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Profound working experience in Software Project Management
- Experience in Software development and Agile methodology
- Track record in working in globally distributed and multi-cultural team setups
- Talent in cross-functional working and structuring new topics
- Effective team player with very good communication skills
- Target-oriented Driver with inspiring working style
- Experience in medical product development or similar areas with strong regulations (optional)
