The Team
This team, Programs & Projects is part of IT where all strategic programs and projects are managed with comprehensive and established process.
The Role
As IT Project Manager (m/f/d) of Programs and Projects, you will manage the IT projects of eCommerce, CRM and ERP. You will work closely with relevant IT, Business stakeholders, third party vendors and senior management in accomplishing program objectives. Some of them are distributed over multiple geographical locations, for instance Singapore, India, Germany, Denmark and US.
You will report to Director -IT.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Translate generalized customer business goals and objectives into concrete strategy and tactical plans.
- Work closely with the Business/Program Sponsor and Executive Management to facilitate the project decisions necessary for program delivery.
- Drive the project/program for the success.
- Resolve resource, budgeting and change requests affecting the eCommerce/ERP program.
- Oversee vendor/partner relations and procurement related to the program
- Propose and Draft project schedule, cut over plan for eCommerce/ERP rollouts
- Lead daily scrum, weekly status calls with partners, Business on delivery
- Define the scope, work packages for sprints with business, architects and execute sprints with proper demos, milestones
- Execute projects with proper communication to business and technology stakeholders with weekly status reports
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong communicator that knows when to insist and when to accept a compromise.
- Team player, who seeks design feedback and engage in constructive discussions with your colleagues.
- Understanding of the strategic and operational issues of the eCommerce/ERP rollouts.
- Presentation and written communication skills, including proposal writing.
- Ability to advise on complex matters to non-specialists.
- Demonstrated ability in managing internal business and external customer expectations on program requirements and deliverables.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage in a matrix environment.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years' project management experience with experience in large, complex projects and management of distributed project resource teams. Must have held project management and/or leadership positions (reflecting increasing levels of responsibility) in an organization of comparable size. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams within a formalized methodology.
- B.S. in Computer Science or Information System or related degree preferred.
- PMP® or Agile project management certification preferred.
