Heritage Hearing Care is now hiring an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist/Dispenser at their location in Pembroke, ON. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

As an Audiologist/Hearing Instrument Specialist, you are passionate about the hearing healthcare of clients. You are able to provide standardized hearing evaluations, a high standard of client care, and follow-up with clients to ensure their needs are met.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligible for registration with regulatory board or provincially recognized licensing body
• 2+ years of experience would be an asset (open to new graduates)
• Ability to work autonomously
• Patient-focused approach with the ability to exhibit empathy, optimism, and a sense of humor into the appointment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain a professional rapport with clients and co-workers
• Reliable and dependable work ethic

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide standardized hearing evaluations for the purposes of hearing aid candidacy using a variety of diagnostic audiological tests
• Maintain an expertise in selecting, fitting, and troubleshooting of current hearing aid technology
• Provide a high standard of care
• Follow-up with clients to ensure that appropriate care is provided
