We are looking for a motivated ERP Developer to join our Retail ERP Team for an exciting multi-national Business Central project.

We have a very international team with enthusiastic colleagues sitting across many different countries delivering crucial IT solutions for our company. 

What you will do

As ERP Developer you will provide direction to leadership by identifying new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technologies that can be leveraged to create innovative and effective solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting development of Global ERP template agreed with the team
• Providing technical input to Gap fit analysis prior to implementing
• Providing technical design for extensions and test all custom extensions prior to release of new versions
• Providing 3rd level support and retrofitting of existing implementations
• Interacting with internal stakeholders when rolling out Global Retail IT Template
• Maintaining awareness and staying updated on industry trends and evaluating applicability of new technologies as they emerge

As we are a global team, we work with internal stakeholders across many boarders. In this role, you can therefore expect 11-20 days of travel to our global destinations in the US or APAC. 

What you bring

You will fit well into our team, if you enjoy working in a global cross-functional environment with people having a variety of different backgrounds.

Furthermore, we expect you to have the following experience:

• You have 3+ years of experience with development in Microsoft ERP software such as NAV or Business Central
• You are proficient using the data exchange framework to develop a custom import tool
• You have experience in developing automated tests in Business Central
• You are proficient in developing and exposing Business Central API’s, as well as consuming API’s
• You are able to understand test-based-development
• You are familiar with REST in general, as well as the Postman application

We also expect that you can recognize yourself in the following: 

• You have an eye for detail and you are able to develop professional-looking reports
• You have great communication skills (oral, written, listening), including the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders globally
